La Veranda Hotel - Larnaca

Had issues with the air conditioning remote in Room 116, which required multiple adjustments to work correctly. The sliding door in the room didn't close properly, and the safe was out of order when I checked in, causing a bit of frustration during my short stay. Waiting half an hour for my room to be ready after a long trip wasn't ideal either, especially after I was initially informed it would be available at check-in time.

The food was freshly made and there were variety of dishes in the menu. The room was clean with a big balcony, we stayed here for 9 nights. It was in a brilliant location minutes away from cafes and bars.

Just had the best time at La Veranda! Super comfy beds, immaculate rooms, and the staff were really accommodating, even adjusting menu items for us. A bit of noise from the airport, but nothing major. Definitely highlight of our trip!

The bathroom was filthy, and the staff's indifference was astounding. I woudl've expected some complimentary water or at least decent service, but here I am. It's like they forgot I was a guest! Almost wrote a glowing review, but no.

The hotel is just a 5-minute walk to Mackenzie Beach and 15 minutes to Phinikoudes Beach and the town center. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend trying the breakfast and the huge pizza at the restaurant!

A clean and spacious double room with a cozy balcony offered a pleasant stay. The hosts were genuinely cute, contributing to a friendly atmosphere. Minor noise from the nearby airport was noticeable at times, affecting overall comfort. There could have been more diverse dining options, as the curries we tried were delicious but limited. Despite these hiccups, the staff's attentiveness stood out was good.

The vibrant location was super close to the beach and only a short walk to the amazing salt lake with flamingos, which the kids loved exploring. Our room was bright, fresh, and very spacious for our family.

For dads, it would be great to have a playground nearby.
